In fact we were more than catalyzer, we were a forerunner... We
actually had SRM and SRB interoperating, using gLite as data mover
within GIN-DATA, prior to this work. Plus a follow on prototype
activity migrating a real experiment using AMGA as the metadata
catalogue (which is different from how ASGC use AMGA, I believe they
are using it as a file catalogue).

So the work they're presenting is a long term replacement for the
short term work. Of course a full SRM interface to SRB is something
that has been talked about for years, so it's good to have one.
