A special master appointed to the civil litigation stemming from the deadly
2021 Astroworld festival told attorneys Friday that a "good faith
misunderstanding" of criminal statutes has likely led to several discovery
disputes, encouraging the parties to try to come to an agreement about what
portion of the Houston Police Department's investigative file on the
tragedy is discoverable.
