A Manhattan federal judge has refused to step away from the case of a
Seattle doctor accused of participating in a scheme to defraud the National
Basketball Association's health plan, saying there was "no basis" for his
bid to oust her after he took issue with the trial schedule and what he
described as systemic barriers.
