i'm coding in vim and running into a clear slowdown right now
as i type, some of my previous typing is getting persistently inserted
in the middle of my typing
i have to keep deleting stuff

it's notable i appear to have a quick reflex for doing that

but it's so persistent i'm really noticing it right now
