The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Friday it will let the D.C. Circuit weigh in
before deciding if former President Donald Trump is immune from federal
criminal conspiracy and obstruction charges stemming from his alleged
attempts to overturn the 2020 election, denying special counsel John L.
"Jack" Smith's request to bypass the appellate court.
