Anarchists have been defending the right to be lazy and attacking the specialist 'scientific" socialist for over half a century, so its no surprise proof-of-work blockchains are already on-the-nose.
And an increasingly ergonomic environment energy wasted in needless work might easily be thought of as a form of censorship and/or repression. Which it is!
