TransUnion's data unit Argus Information & Advisory Services will pay $37
million to the federal government to resolve allegations it violated the
False Claims Act by allegedly misusing anonymized credit card data it
obtained from banks under contracts with federal regulators over a
decade-long period, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
