U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Director Kathi Vidal issued a memorandum
on Tuesday saying the agency's existing mechanisms are adequate to tackle
attorney conduct — and misconduct — related to the use of artificial
intelligence tools, but promised to provide more guidance in the next few
months.
