NYC Mayor's Supporters Ran Straw Donor Scam, DA Says

Six people, including construction company managers and an accountant, were
charged in Manhattan state court Friday with using straw donors to inflate
public funding of Mayor Eric Adams' 2021 campaign in the hopes of obtaining
city contracts once Adams took office.
