note: f() does not need to execute g(), just predict it
theoretically g() does not need to execute f() either

here is where the math simplifies and the conclusion is usually drawn

f halts even if g does not

counterexample shows there is space regarding pure functions where
behavior h — nope not comprehended sufficiently
